AVI'S VILLAGE AGRI TOURISM RESORT

Nestled in the background of the hills and a 10 kilemeters from Karjat city, lies this agri tourism resort full of greenery and calm surrounding. If you wish to feel the village background, this is the place to visit. We visited it on 22nd of October, 2022 for a family function for one night. We were a group of 14. The cottages were spacious and well designed. There are different types of cottages for different groups, spread of a vast area.

On the Pune-Mumbai old highway, take a turn near Khopoli towards Karjat. Avi’s village resort is located at Bhaliwadi village area, about 10kms from Karjat city. Bus service is available upto Karjat city and also train service upto Karjat.

The resort has different types of accommodation depending upon the group. For families they have large villa and cottages airconditioned, for bachelors they have dorms, for larger group they have large dormitory. They also have camping tents. The accommodation is well maintained.

The resort serves tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. For breakfast they serve egg burgie with bread & misal bread. For lunch and dinner they serve vegetable, dal, chapati, rice roti, rice and chicken dishes. For evening high tea, they serve onion bhajia with tea.

The food is quite tasty. The serving staff is very helpful in providing any additional item that is required by any person.

Restaurant

The resort has a number of activities. They have indoor sports like carrom, table tennis, pool, chess etc. and outdoor sports like cricket, badminton, football etc.

They have two swimming pools one smaller with water zorbing and the other slightly larger with a pool for kids.

The best experience you can get is by using the fish spa. The tiny fish swarming you feet dipped in water and cleaning the feet is a unique ticklish experience, not to be missed.

There is a lake right behind the cottages with flowing water and birds sitting on the trees.

You can also use the hammocks to relax below the trees. The entire surrounding is lush green with grass and trees and plants.
