PANAMBUR BEACH, MANGALORE

Located at 12 kms. from Mangalore city, and to the south of Mangalore Port, Panambur beach, Mangalore is one of the clean and safe beaches in South Karnatka.

Prior to the construction of the Mangalore Port, Panambur beach was one of the longest beaches in Mangalore where you could play, walk, indulge in sports or just relax.  As a student, I remember having played football at Panambur beach.  The construction of the Port has made the access to the Beach narrow and not very clean. But the beach as such is well maintained.  It is maintained by a private enterprise. People of all ages are seen venturing into the water at the beach.
